SCA Title:
SCA History:
Ysabela is a 15th century Spanish noblewoman. She is descended from the Aragonese nobility who assisted James I in retaking the island of Majorca from the Moors in 1211. She lives in the port city of Palma where she keeps a close eye on the shipping business she inherited from her late husband. When she is not engaged in commercial trade, she likes to read, game, and dance. As penance for these vices, she makes tablet-woven goods for the Church. On the council of her confessor, she recently made a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. She was accompanied on this journey by several Knights of the Order of Santiago as one of her relatives is Master of the Order, Rodrigo Manrique.
